Michael Jordan Authentic Signed Auto Autographed 1989 Hoops card PSA/DNA Slabbed
Up for sale is a vintage 1989 Hoops card which I personally had Michael Jordan sign for me in person in 1990. Back in the 1980's/early 1990's, the Chicago Bulls would practice at the Multiplex in Deerfield, IL. My father was a member at the gym, and brought me along on the weekends when the Bulls were scheduled to practice. It was an amazing experience to look back on. Getting to not only sit and watch Jordan, Pippen, Grant, Cartwright, etc practice, but then ask for an autograph afterwards. Jordan typically went out a back way, and the one day I got to his car in time, he was already climbing into his car and saying he couldnt sign today for the other seekers. Somehow, someone opened Jordan's passenger side door and sat next to him asking for an autograph... And Jordan then was resigned to just sit and sign an autograph for each person. Its a memory I still hold 31 years later.
This hoops card is what I had Jordan sign for me that day. I showed it a lot of love in the years after (corners are not as sharp as I would like), and it has been sitting in storage for the past 25 years. I recently submitted it to PSA, and it now resides in a PSA/DNA slab for the next owner to be confident in its authenticity.
This truly is a rare signed card before Jordan's Upper Deck contract went into effect.
