This is a real sweet 7"x 5.25" black and white Glossy Wire Photo of Archie Moore with Rocky Marciano after Marciano's last fight. Archie Moore has signed in blue permanent marker. This photo appears to be the wire photo that was posted in the newspapers the day that Marciano died in a plane crash, 1969. (December 13, 1913 December 9, 1998). Was an American professional boxer.

And the longest reigning World Light Heavyweight Champion of all time (December 1952 May 1962). He had one of the longest professional careers in the history of the sport, competing from 1935 to 1963. Nicknamed "The Mongoose", and then "The Old Mongoose" in the latter half of his career, Moore was a highly strategic and defensive boxer, with a strong chin. As of December 2020, BoxRec. Ranks Moore as the third greatest pound-for-pound boxer of all time.

Moore has won 32 professional fights rated by BoxRec as 5-Star, the most in boxing history. He also ranks fourth on The Ring. S list of "100 greatest punchers of all time".
